| The Radiant Research-Akron site was established in 1982. The clinic moved in December, 2008 into a brand new space occupying 5,700 square feet. It is situated in a premier metropolitan location that provides access to a vast population (businesses, residential areas and major university), public transportation and expanded capabilities with its proximity to area hospitals and medical clinics. This state-of-the-art site includes 6 exam rooms, CLIA PPMP-certified laboratory, 4 private auditor rooms with high speed internet/fax/copier access, secure temperature-controlled drug storage room, treatment room and secure document storage areas. The dedicated research team includes 2 Principal Investigators (Internal Medicine/Family Practice), CCRC (LPN/RN/MA) coordinators, lab tech, regulatory specialist, recruitment RN/CCRC nurse, operations manager and designated data entry who expedites rapid CRF/EDC turnaround. A variety of sub-investigators and vendor specialty services are available on a contractual basis. The site subject database has over 10,500 adults. There are 2 airports that access this location, from Akron-Canton airport is a 10 minute drive and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport approximately 50 minutes. |
